ITINERARIES

	The Molisana Coast, between Marina di Montenero and Lido di Campomarino is admired for its unspoiled environment. The coast is the natural ornament of the sea with a variety of aspects, from the dunes with the sand reeds to the Maquis, full of myrtle and juniper.

Termoli is the second town of the province after Campobasso and is the cornerstone of the two economies that mark this large part of the Molisano territory; the resources of the sea and those of the mountain, in a landscape of low hills that fade in the coastal lowland prelude to the Tavoliere delle Puglie.
From the harbour of Termoli it is easy to reach the Tremiti Islands, much sought after by the divers. They are a combination of beautiful rocks, cliffs and grottoes. The whole area is the ideal starting point for excursions to nearby locations of great natural, cultural and religious interest such as the National Park of Abruzzo and San Giovanni Rotondo. It is worth mentioning the pottery and the pillow lace of Isernia, the areas of archeological interest of Sepico and Pietrabbondante, the bells of Agnone and the zampogne or bagpipes of Scapoli.
